What to include

Tell us whether your request concerns Android, Apple services, or support correspondence, and what you want deleted. Include the app version if you know it. We will explain the applicable steps and any ownership verification before deleting account data. An email address, player ID or friend invitation alone is not permission to erase someone else's account.

Do not email passwords, verification codes, private deletion keys, identity documents, card details, or a child's name, birthday, photo or other personal details. A parent or guardian can contact support without sending those details in the first message.

Current Android Beta

The downloadable Android beta is offline and account-free. There is no Chess: Time Wars online account or server match history to delete. Matches, settings, tutorials and personal results stay on your device; clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it removes those local records. Android application backup is disabled in this beta.

To remove local records on Android, open the device's Settings, find Chess: Time Wars under Apps, and select its storage-clearing option. The wording varies by phone. This permanently removes local games and settings; support cannot recover them or erase them remotely.

Online Play Is in Development

Android online accounts and public guardian approval are not available yet. Younger players can continue to play offline; no guardian consent forms are being requested. We will update the privacy policy and this page before distributing an online build.

Our multiplayer deletion workflow is being tested locally, not running as a public deletion service. Its intended effect is to end unfinished matches as a resignation and remove the account and associated server match data, including managed accounts where applicable. It does not erase game records already saved on another player's device. No online sign-up or deletion key is required to contact support now.

Apple Accounts and Purchases

The Apple app uses Game Center and App Store purchases, not a separate Chess: Time Wars account. Apple manages those account and purchase records. See Apple's Data and Privacy portal for Apple-held data. Deleting a local game does not cancel or refund a purchase. We can help identify the appropriate privacy route, but cannot erase your Apple Account for you.

Support Correspondence

You can request access to or deletion of messages you sent to support. We may need to verify control of the relevant correspondence. We use your request to handle the privacy issue, not to enroll you in marketing.
